Live virtual draping vs. draping in person
In a color analysis, cloths in known colors are draped under the chin, in daylight, by someone who knows what to look for. The Color Mirror does something simpler: it changes the color of the top you already have on, in whatever light your camera happens to see. That is what “live virtual draping” means here – the same comparison, how your face reads against a warm or cool, muted or clear, light or deep color – but without the texture of real cloth and without controlled light.
Use it to see differences, not to settle a verdict. If your skin visibly shifts between two seasons, you’ve learned something. If you’re unsure which palette is yours, that is best decided by a trained eye.

Yes – and on desktop. The Color Mirror runs in any modern browser on any device, as long as it has a camera. The browser asks for camera permission the first time. If you decline by mistake, change it in the browser’s settings for the page.
The model recolors the whole garment. Patterns and prints flatten out, and a top in roughly the same color as the background makes the edge harder to find. A plain, mid-light top gives the clearest result.
