I wonder if the analysis is done “manually” by a color consultant?
When you order our digital color analysis, a trained color consultant always reviews your photos and makes the assessment. The analysis is therefore done manually – no automated software makes the decisions. We look carefully at your skin tone, eye color, and hair color to see which colors harmonize best with your appearance.
How should the hair be in the photos?
The most important thing is for your face to be clearly visible and the lighting to be even. You can therefore send photos with your hair both down and up. Many people do this:
- Hair down – shows your natural hair color and overall appearance.
- Hair up – puts more focus on your skin tone and eyes, making the analysis easier.
- Neutral background and daylight – avoid strong shadows and color casts from artificial light.
Combining different angles and hairstyles gives us a complete set of references, so we can make the recommendations as accurate as possible.
