Is there a physical color chart available? Something I can bring when shopping?

Published: May 29, 2025 Category: Styling Tips By: Customer Service Team

Having a physical color chart, sometimes called a color fan, is excellent support when shopping for clothes or makeup. It makes it easier to stick to your personal color palette and plan your wardrobe. We currently don’t have our own color chart for sale, but you can always use the color image in your analysis report directly on your phone. Many find this works just as well when choosing garments in store.

Why is the color nearest your face most important?

The colors that end up closest to your skin and face have the greatest impact on how fresh and vibrant you look. This is because they interact directly with your skin tone and create more or less radiance. If you want to wear neutral base colors like black or white, you can soften them with a scarf or top in a flattering shade from your palette. This way, the right colors are near your face and the overall impression becomes more harmonious.

Tips for hair and makeup

  • Choose tinted shampoo and highlights in cool shades if you’re a True Summer. Warm tones can easily clash with the skin.
  • Go for makeup in muted, cool colors that don’t overpower the face. We recently launched a complete makeup guide for True Summer: Summer True Makeup.

How to use the color chart in daily life

  1. Photograph or save your digital color palette on your phone.
  2. Keep it handy when trying on clothes or looking for the right makeup colors.
  3. Build a wardrobe where the pieces match each other – this makes both shopping and wardrobe planning easier.

A color chart, physical or digital, helps you keep your style consistent and simplifies all color choices – from hair color to clothing and accessories.
