I’ve photographed new fabrics and I’m unsure if I’m really Soft Autumn. Can you give a second opinion on which beige and brown shades work?
Wanting to double-check your color analysis is completely natural, especially when you feel unsure about how certain fabrics play against your skin. A second opinion can provide reassurance and help you see patterns you might have missed yourself.
Why does it feel unclear?
- New fabrics can vary in lightness and warmth, making it hard to see if they really fit your Soft Autumn palette.
- Beige and brown come in countless shades; everything from cool taupe to warm caramel. Some can clash with your features while others become perfect.
How to test the fabrics
- Photograph in daylight – avoid artificial light that can distort colors.
- Compare against the palette – hold the fabric near your face and see if the skin looks clearer or more sallow.
- Ask for feedback – feel free to send photos to us if you want a more careful assessment.
Beige and brown for Soft Autumn
- Focus on the warmer, softly muted shades like camel, honey, and soft cocoa.
- Avoid shades that are too cool or grayish, which can easily make the skin look lifeless.
- Think about the garment as a whole – texture and sheen also affect how the color is perceived.
When you’re still unsure
- Go through your favorite pieces and note which colors always feel good. They’re often clues to your palette.
- If you experience recurring confusion, a new analysis with fresh photos can give you the color confirmation you need.
So getting a second opinion is no problem. What matters is that you feel comfortable and that the colors bring out the best in you.
